Processing Through Listening – Liberty, MO

May 16 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Join Clay Countians for Inclusion for a meaningful community gathering focused on connection, reflection, and understanding during challenging times.

This event offers a safe, welcoming space to come together and process the emotions many are experiencing in response to current events—including immigration enforcement actions, global conflict, and growing divisions in our communities.

Rather than debate, this session centers on listening.

What to Expect

  • A guided “listening table” experience where participants can share and be heard
  • A respectful environment focused on empathy, healing, and human connection
  • Opportunities to reflect on personal experiences and emotions
  • Community dialogue designed to build understanding—not division

This is not a lecture or workshop—it’s a space to pause, listen, and process together.

Why It Matters

In times of uncertainty and tension, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or isolated. This event is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect—with yourself and with others—through the simple but powerful act of listening.
